Adil Nabi off the bench but unable to impact in loss to Oxford United

ADIL NABI made his second league appearance of the season but couldn’t prevent Peterborough United slipping to a 2-1 defeat to Oxford United.

The home side won the game in the dying moments, with Chris Maguire slotting home a penalty after Jack Baldwin was sent off for the Posh.

Nabi, who has made two substitute appearances in a row after coming off the bench in the 5-1 midweek win over Millwall, was unable to have an impact for the visitors.

Peterborough lie in 11th place in the League One table, having picked up six points in four games.

Their next fixture is against Swansea in the Capital One Cup, which could see Nabi make his first start of the season.

That game is followed by a trip to MK Dons in the league next weekend.
