Samir Nabi makes Delhi Dynamos debut against Baggies

MIDFIELDER Samir Nabi made his debut for Indian Super League side Delhi Dynamos in the 1-0 loss to his former side West Bromwich Albion in a friendly at the Hawthorns.

Nabi came on as a second half substitute, replacing former Chelsea midfielder Flourant Malouda to a warm reception from the home crowd.

The 18-year-old was released by the Baggies at the end of last season and had a trial with Oldham Athletic.

But Samir has followed in the footsteps of older brother Adil, who played for the Lions in the second edition of the ISL in 2015.

The crowd were also treated to the sight of another Nabi brother, Rahis, who looked lively, coming on for the closing moments of the game.
