SANJEEV SAHOTA will be looking to close 2016 unbeaten as he prepares for his fifth professional bout later this month.

The super lightweight takes on Gyul Tallosi at the Brentwood Centre on 25th November on the undercard of Lee Markham v Andrew Robinson for the English Middleweight title.

The 24-year-old from Honchurch has had a busy year snce making his bow in the professional ranks in April, winning his first four bouts which he has fought the last six months.

Sahota, who is part of top British promoter Frank Warren’s stable of fighters, made an impressive debut, with a first-round stoppage of Latvia’s Nikita Gultjajevs at the Copper Box Arena in London’s East End.

Two months later, he won a points victory over Silvjie Kebet before travelling to New Delhi, India a month later, beating debutant Vikas Kumar.

Sahota fought against Fonz Alexander last month, recording another points victory and winning a few more admirers along the way.

Sahota is a proud Londoner but moved to Spain when he was 14 and inspired by ‘The Contender’ reality boxing show, became interested in the sweet science and thus began the journey to professional boxing.

Tallosi should prove to be another decent challenge for Sahota, with 12 wins in 27 fights, including eight by way of knockout.
